FBI Use Israeli Tech to Crack Terrorist’s iPhone

Read how Israeli tech helped the FBI in their legal battle with Apple

For several months, the FBI attempted to crack the iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernadino terrorists.

This led to a legal battle with Apple who were being told by the FBI to allow them to break into the phone, which would otherwise be rendered locked and would not enable them to access the crucial data on the phone.

However, in the midst of the case, the FBI found an apparent solution – Israeli tech.

An Israeli company, Cellebrite, were used by the FBI to somehow crack the locked iPhone, and thereby they dropped their lawsuit against Apple.

While many speculated whether this was the case, a two word tweet from a senior employee seems to confirm that Cellebrite were, indeed, the company behind this development:
