How is it possible that the generation who left Egypt, witnessed the Ten Plagues and the Splitting of the Red Sea, received the Torah at Mount Sinai – is the very same generation who committed one of the biggest sins, idolatry, and made the Golden Calf?!
It seems to be literally unbelievable!
But, yet, there could be an explanation for such a seeming anomaly.
