In Rome the famous Arch of Titus stands, featuring the images of the Jewish slaves bringing the holy vessels from the Temple in Jerusalem.

In this week’s parasha, we are told about the Menorah, and about how it was to be made, but we do not have a clear idea of what it looks like.

Amazingly, the State of Israel has the Menorah as the central symbol of the country’s emblem.

Watch Rav Perez explain the connection between these, with a great story about the Rebbe of Ponovezh.
