
Suburban Torah, founded in 1969 as the original Modern Orthodox synagogue of Livingston, NJ, is a vibrant and diverse community founded upon a commitment to Torah and Mitzvot, the State of Israel, and each other.
The Suburban Torah community cherishes the unique and precious nature of every Jew, at all stages of observance. We strive to be inclusive and cohesive, caring and welcoming, at all times remaining dedicated to each other and the broader Jewish community. Our members are firmly grounded in and strengthened by the precepts of Torah study, meaningful prayer, and by promoting acts of chessed. Socially conscious, we are passionate advocates for the State of Israel, feeling proud and privileged to be part of Am Yisrael.
