Rabbanit Dr. Tamara Spitz is the Dean of Students and Mashgicha Ruchanit of Midreshet Torah VAvodah. She lectures and has held academic and administrative positions at various Midrashot and served as the Jewish Studies Principal of Instituto Yavne, one of the main Jewish day schools of Montevideo, Uruguay. Dr. Spitz holds an undergraduate degree in Judaic Studies and Pre-Medicine from Touro College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport. She runs a Chiropractic Practice specializing in Women’s Health in Gush Etzion. Dr. Spitz is a hip hop dance teacher and choreographer as well.
