Ben-Tzion Spitz is the former Chief Rabbi of Uruguay where he was responsible for many of the religious services in the country. His first job was as a nuclear engineer for Raytheon. He went on from there to a 20-year career in consulting, business development and management for industrial and technological companies in the US, Europe and Israel, before accepting the role of Chief Rabbi in 2013. He is also the author of eleven books on a range of Torah themes, including a biblical fiction novel, Joshua: Conqueror. His blog has attracted visitors from over 100 different countries.
