A native of Rochester, NY, Rabbi Jeffrey Schrager attended Yeshivat Hamivtar in Israel and Yeshiva University before moving to Dallas, TX where he was a member of the YU Community Kollel. He eventually became the Middle School Judaic Studies Coordinator at the Akiba Academy of Dallas, where he worked for ten years. In addition to Jewish education, he is the founder of JewishgeNext, promoting the use of Jewish Genealogy in Jewish education. He has written and lectured on Jewish education as well as Jewish genealogy. He and his family made Aliyah in 2015 to Ramat Beit Shemesh.
