Rabbi Shimshon Nadel lives and teaches in Jerusalem, where he serves as Rav Kehila of Har Nof’s Kehilat Zichron Yosef. His articles on Jewish Law, Jewish History, Israel and Zionism have appeared in Techumin, Hakirah, The Journal of Halacha & Contemporary Society, Segula, Kol Hatorah, Kolmus, the Jerusalem Post, and the Jewish Press. He writes “Medina & Halacha: Exploring the Jewish State through the Lens of Jewish Law,” a popular weekly column looking at contemporary issues in Israel. His forthcoming book is “Return Again: The Argument for Aliyah” (Mosaica Press/Feldheim, 2019).

Before moving to Israel in 2009, Rabbi Nadel served as a rabbi in Nebraska and Connecticut.

A sought after lecturer, Rabbi Nadel has served as scholar in residence for communities all over the world. A profound thinker and dynamic educator, his classes are always full of wit, wisdom, and inspiration.
