In the wake of the arrest and interrogation of the Jewish terror suspects in the Duma arson case, Education Minister Naftali Bennett came out in the strongest terms against the violence.
In a series of tweets posted originally in Hebrew and then translated into English on his official account, Bennett says the murder was intended to “destroy the country”. He goes on to say that “This is the opposite of the essence of religious Zionism that views Israel as the beginning of our redemption, which sends our sons to the IDF, to the development towns, to settle the land, to become educators, to leadership.”
Definition of terrorism: Using violence against civilians to advance political goals.
