This amazing scene captured by Emanuel Miller, features two young men praying – one Muslim about to bow on his prayer mat, the other a Jew with his Tefillin on.
Where in the world other than in Israel, specifically here in Jerusalem, would you be able to see this scene?!
As we say three times a day in the Aleinu prayer:
And all of humankind will call with Your name, turning towards You all of the earth’s wicked. All the earth’s inhabitants will recognize and know that every knee must bow to You and every tongue swear. They will kneel and bow down before You, Hashem, and give honor to Your esteemed name. They will all accept the yoke of Your kingdom, and soon you will reign over them forever.
A scene you won't find in too many places around the world. A religious Jew praying alongside a religious Muslim.Behind the scenes at Sushi Rehavia, in central Jerusalem.
