Theresa May, who is about to replace David Cameron as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, seems to be a big friend of Israel.
She was the guest of honor at the Bnei Akiva Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebrations in London last year, and delivered a powerful speech, which she littered with Hebrew phrases.
She said:
Israel is, at once, an ancient and a young nation. The modern State of Israel is the fulfilment of many generations of struggle. But… 67 is still a very youthful age.
