Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks has released a video speaking about the meaning of Yom Yerushalayim to him.
He speaks about his experiences leading up to the Six Day War as a university student in Cambridge, his feelings of needing to visit Israel after 1967, and how he found himself on the Mount of Olives facing the Temple Mount.
Watch Rabbi Sacks speak about the city that is the “oldest of the old, and the newest of the new”:
Participants in our YY50 mega-mission this week will be able to hear more from Rabbi Sacks during our programs!
