Tikkun Olam in Action: Syrian Refugees Aided By Israelis

In the following video, we see real-life tikkun olam – of Jews ‘fixing the world’. The videos show Syrian refugees arriving on the coast of Greece, many of them who are the elderly or young children. The refugees sometimes require immediate medical treatment, but who will give it to them?

IsraAid, who we recently featured after they were mentioned in a positive piece on the BBC, have sent a medical team to the area to give the refugees triage.

They also give the refugees information and maps to help them on their onward journey.

Some of the refugees simply can’t believe that they are being helped out by ISRAELIS!

Oh, and the team of doctors are made up of a mix of Jewish and Arab professionals, (including a Christian Arab team leader).
