Ron Dermer, Israel’s Ambassador to the US, sent packages for the holidays which contain products which were produced either in Judea and Samaria or the Golan Heights.
In a letter he wrote, Dermer says that he “decided to send a gift that would also help combat the latest effort by Israel’s enemies to destroy the one and only Jewish state”.
He sharply criticizes the BDS movement, who are attempting to single out the Jewish state, and who “naively believe… they are advancing peace between Israelis and Palestinians.”
He also includes the recent EU decision regarding the labeling of goods produced in Judea & Samaria and the Golan, citing it as “the most recent case of this.”
“In response to this effort to cast a beacon of freedom, tolerance and decency as a pariah state, I have decided this holiday season to send you products that were made in Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights. I hope you will enjoy them.”
